Role overview
Within the Educational and Child Psychology Team we are seeking to appoint a fully qualified educational psychologist to join our dynamic and enthusiastic team. We welcome applications from current Year 3 trainees and offer a comprehensive and tailored induction programme. We are a traded service, highly regarded by schools and partners with an increasing demand for a whole range of our services and high buy-in from our schools.
Key responsibilities
- Providing high quality applied psychological services, to patches of schools and other community agencies
- Maintaining a focus on prevention and early intervention
- Contributing creatively to service development initiatives including person centred approaches and EHC plans.
- Working in close partnership with CYP and their families
- Continuing to develop our ways of working to further achieve positive outcomes for children and young people
Key Requirements
To succeed in this role you will need as a minimum:
- To be able to provide high quality applied psychological services to professionals and key partners with a focus on prevention and early intervention.
- To continue to develop ways of working to further achieve positive outcomes for children and young people who are in care to Oldham
- To be professionally qualified and registered with HCPC. Professional supervision provided through the Education, Child Psychology Service.
- An enhanced disclosure from the DBS
