£17.59 - £23.36 per hour - Non-vocational Courses

£20.89 - £26.50 per hour - Vocational Courses

Role Overview:

 

To deliver high quality teaching learning and assessment that complies with the quality standards of the service.  Course delivery will include a range of accredited and non-accredited ICT, Digital skills and Business administration courses from Entry level 2 up to Level 2.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • To prepare schemes of work, lesson plans and relevant resources for the course/s.
  • To complete all appropriate administrative tasks, including completion of registers, learner agreement forms, risk assessments and records for the teaching and learning file (TLC) in line with Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement (RARPA).
  • To set and mark learners’ work as appropriate and provide individual / group feedback to support learning in order to ensure progress. 
  • To ensure that individual learner needs are met and progress is monitored and recorded and is reflected in lesson planning.

 

Key Requirements:

 

To succeed in this role you will need as a minimum:

  • Relevant subject qualification at level 3 or equivalent or willing to work towards
  • Relevant teaching qualification or willingness to achieve minimum qualification within 12 months
  • Excellent organisational skills to deliver teaching and learning within the Post 19 sector; with practitioner experience in the curriculum area relevant to the post.
