Salary: £25,463-£29,909 

Hours: per week 36:40 

Based: Civic Centre

Role overview

This diverse and challenging role will encompass aspects of both HR Administration and Advice in additional to supporting the ongoing development of a successful Governance SLA which serves around 70 schools and academies.  On a day to day basis around 50% of your time will focus on matters that relate to HR processes, procedures, and advice and policy development with the remaining 50% engaged with developing our Governance offer to schools.  In addition the post holder will be expected to support Managers on a diverse range of projects including academy conversion processes.  You will also play a key role in Head teacher/Teacher recruitment initiatives and processes.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Establish, implement and maintain a bank of policies and procedures as they relate to school support services
  • Offer advice and guidance to Head teachers and Governors on a range of issues including HR queries, governance, training and recruitment.
  • Undertake specific pieces of research in respect of national developments in Education particularly those that relate to Education Support Services

 

Key Requirements

 

To succeed in this role you will need:-

  • Experience in a HR role or senior business support/governance administration role
  • Experience of working with education providers such as schools, academies or colleges
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills and the ability to analyse and interpret complex information
  • Experience in developing policy and procedures.
