Role overview
Following a review of the HR and Organisational Development Service, we are excited to recruit to a new role of Senior Strategic HR Business Partner. Leading the delivery of Business Partnering and HR Advisory functions to TeamOldham, you will be pivotal in the delivery of the Workforce Strategy and a highly valued HR consultancy service.
Key responsibilities
As a senior leader within the service you will be responsible for:
- Defining and embedding strategic HR interventions across the TeamOldham organisations, supporting the delivery of the Workforce Strategy.
- Integrating the use of service demand and workforce metrics into the function to enable effective performance management and targeting the service’s efforts for maximum organisational benefit.
- Developing a highly effective, consistent and performance driven Business Partnering and HR Advisory function to support the achievement of organisational objectives.
- Contributing to the development and delivery of the service’s strategic objectives.
Key Requirements
To succeed in this role you will need:
- CIPD qualification (ideally MCIPD or FCIPD).
- Experience of leading a HR team within the NHS and Local Government context.
- Experience of dealing with all aspects of Employee Relations in a unionised environment.
- The ability to provide strategic HR advice at a high level on complex issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to convey complex and difficult messages.
