Salary: £19,048 - £22,212 pro rata

Hours: 36.40 per week - term time only

Based: Sports Development, High Barn Resource Centre, High Barn Street, Royton, Oldham, OL2 6DW

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to join our team of Sport Development Workers, delivering a range of positive activities for children and young people across Oldham.

The purpose of the post is to work with local schools to increase levels of participation in positive and educational activities for children and young people.

The post will involve delivering within a range of school and community settings and may include working evenings and weekends. The post will be subject to an enhanced disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau

The following vacancy is open only to those who are currently employed on permanent or temporary contracts with Oldham Council and agency workers working in the Council

DBS: The post is subject to an enhanced disclosure from the DBS (previously known as CRB)
