Salary: £19,171 - £21,166 pro rata (Grade 3 plus 8% SEN allowance)
Contract: Fixed Term (Oct 2019 to August 2020)
Hours: 32.50 hours per week, term time plus 1 week. (Monday to Friday 08.30am – 3.30pm)

The Governors of St Herbert’s School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced, well organised and committed teaching assistant to join our hard-working SEND support staff team.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a relevant NVQ Level 2 qualification and Literacy and Numeracy skills
  • Have experience of working in schools and supporting children with complex needs
  • Have excellent communication skills and competent ICT skills
  • Be flexible and self-motivated
  • Excellent team player, who is positive, proactive and has the ability to reflect and improve
  • Be a practising Catholic/Christian is desirable, but not essential. Candidates would need to be willing to support the school’s aims mission and religious character
