Role Overview:
The MioCare Group is a growing organisation and we are now looking to recruit an Operations Manager to provide the leadership for a new flagship supported living scheme for people with a learning disability developed in partnership with Oldham Council. This is an exciting opportunity to join a great forward-looking organisation consistently rated as Good by CQC. The new provision has 20 self-contained apartments and communal facilities providing an environment which will enable people to thrive and live as independently as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- To carry out the role of Operations Manager you will need a good understanding of the CQC regulatory framework to ensure the service is compliant and experience of working with vulnerable client groups.
- You will be responsible for the onsite delivery of care and facilities management of the building.
- You will provide leadership to the onsite team ensuring that staff work in a person-centred way and in partnership with service users, their families and carers ensuring their voice is heard, making a positive difference for the people we support.
- To ensure the service delivers high quality care, achieves the aspirations of service users and delivers the outcomes required by all stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need as a minimum:
- Ability to provide leadership and direction to a staff team to ensure the provision of high-quality person-centred care, within an enabling and encouraging environment in which service users can develop and thrive.
- Ability to support the company and management team to be compliant with all statutory regulations such as CQC: through good practice, robust audit schedules and an adherence to policies and procedures.
- Ability to set and maintain the highest standards of care delivery, to include developing positive outcome-based care plans, supportive risk assessments, effective medication management and infection prevention and control routines, and the provision of dignified and respectful personal care services.
- Ability to manage complex care and support operations on a single site.
