Salary: £22,183 - £24,491 (full time full year equivalent)
Actual Salary: £16,932 - £18,671 per annum (Grade 4)
Hours: 32.5 per week, term time only + 1 week.
Location: South Failsworth Primary School, Paddock Lane, Manchester, M35 0NY
Contract Type: Temporary contract (04.01.22 to 31.07.22) with the possibility of an extension or a permanent position
Start Date: Tuesday 4th January 2022
The Governors of this successful and popular primary school would like to appoint a suitable candidate to a full-time teaching assistant position. This position will initially be based in our EYFS unit working with a child with additional needs but based upon the needs of the school you may be required to support in other classes. We are looking for a teaching assistant who is experienced in supporting individuals and groups of children with SEMH and/ or ASC. If you are a teaching assistant who is passionate about supporting teaching and learning and having a positive impact on the outcomes for our children, then this is an ideal opportunity for you.

The suitable candidate must have:
- Suitable experience working at Level 3
- An NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent
- GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English
- Experience of working with children with SEMH and/ or ASC
