Role Overview:

The post will have a key role in the development and delivery of the programme of integration of community health and social care in Oldham, with a specific focus on the community enablement transformation programme.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake a range of tasks relevant to the successful implementation of programme and project management including feasibility and business case development; data and intelligence analysis; creation of new target operating models, processes, procedures and ways of working and ensuring effective governance and control processes are in place.
  • Establishing, developing and maintaining constructive relationships with a variety of stakeholders including close working relationships with operational staff within Oldham’s Community Health and Social Care teams.
  • Ensure projects keep to expected schedules and are delivering against agreed, outputs, outcomes, timescales, costs and quality and achieving both financial and non-financial benefits.
  • Responsible for assigned project budgets.
  • Supervision and management of resources including project staff where appropriate.

 

Key Requirements:

 

  • Extensive experience of successfully leading, developing, managing and monitoring complex and varied change programmes and/or complex projects simultaneously within a large public sector organisation or equivalent
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills to influence others to bring about process, behavioural and cultural change and to write clear, comprehensive information for a range of stakeholders at varying stages of prior knowledge.
  • Knowledge of the key national policy drivers, legislation and broader influences related to social care and health at an Oldham, Greater Manchester, North-West and national level, particularly those impacting on service provision.
