Role Overview:
We are recruiting to our small team of qualified part time tutors to supplement our full-time staff at busy periods. You will run adventurous outdoor activities and / or Environmental Education activities with groups of young people or adults from schools, the Youth service and other groups. The centre is located in the Castleshaw Valley near the A62 bus route. Secure, FREE car parking is available adjacent to the centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- To run outdoor activity and environmental education or courses with groups of young people or adults.
- To liaise with teachers and other group leaders to ensure a match between their requirements and Centre provision.
- To support the day to day running of the Centre
Key Requirements:
To succeed in this role you will need as a minimum:
- You must hold a minimum of a minimum of an NGB award (or acceptable alternative) in hill walking, rock climbing or canoeing and preferably at least one other nationally recognised NGB award. Current first aid certificate.
- A calm and professional manner and relevant experience is essential.
