The Pinnacle Learning Trust was established in 2017 as a result of the long-standing, strong and effective relationship between The Hathershaw College and Oldham Sixth Form College. Werneth Primary School joined the Trust in February 2019. Our work is built upon our shared belief that young people in Oldham and the local area should have access to excellent educational provision. This includes supporting staff through our nationally recognised and respected professional development offer and accreditation as an Associate Research School and EdTech Demonstrator School status, along with our role as a key partner in the local Teaching School Hub, all of which provide support both within and beyond the Trust.

Trust Head of Finance

Full time, 36 hrs 40 mins per week, Full Year. Permanent, to commence as soon as possible.

The Pinnacle Learning Trust is looking to recruit a Trust Head of Finance who will work with the Chief Financial Officer and Trust’s Executive Leadership Team to ensure that the Trust continues to have robust financial procedures. The post represents an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified/part qualified finance professional to lead a finance team responsible for a broad and varied range of financial activities.

This role will provide leadership to the Trust Central Finance Team and will support the Trust Payroll Officer with the Trust’s payroll function.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant, or part qualified with willingness to continue with their studies. Self-motivated and articulate, you will be expected to be a good team player, with great attention to detail and strong IT skills.

The role will be based at Oldham Sixth Form College but will involve some travel to our other sites, The Hathershaw College and Werneth Primary School.

Salary: Point 31 – 32 of the SFCA Support Staff Pay Spine pay spine currently £39,866 - £40,809 per annum.
