Salary: £22,183 - £24,491 (£18,405 - £20,320 pro rata) per annum
Contract: Full Time - 36.66 hours per week (term time only)


Saddleworth School is a popular 11-16 comprehensive school in attractive rural surroundings close to Oldham and require the following:

 

Required as soon as possible, we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated professional with an interest in Teaching and Learning.

 

Key aspects of the role would be to:

  • To supervise and support students engaged in learning activities during the short term absence of their teacher
  • To assist pupils in the completion of work set and facilitate peer assessment and correction of the work under the direction of the Curriculum Leader
  • To support with ad hoc administrative work in the designated Curriculum area

 

Candidates will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience of working with or relating to young people and have a commitment to their education, development, welfare and aspirations with particular focus on language for learning.
  • Ability to successfully deliver pre planned lessons as directed by the classroom teacher/Curriculum Leader
  • Ability to respond to changing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Good interpersonal, communication and administration skills.
