In addition, the outstanding achievement and progression rates of all our students led to OSFC receiving the Social Mobility Award at the Educate North Awards in April 2017. Furthermore, in July 2017, the college was designated a Teaching School in recognition of its impressive track record in developing teachers and sharing best practice. The college has recently converted to Academy status as part of a Multi Academy Trust (The Pinnacle Learning Trust).

College Student Supervisor

Full Time, 36hrs 40mins per week (8.30am –16.35pm Monday to Friday with a 45 minute lunch), 39 weeks per year. To commence as soon as possible, fixed term until 24th May 2019.

Salary: Pro-rata of Points 16-21, of the Sixth Form College’s Support Staff pay spine, which is currently £16,400 - £18,125 per annum.

Oldham Sixth Form College is looking to appoint a highly motivated Student Supervisor. The successful candidate will supervise students, encouraging positive behaviour and an outstanding learning culture in the College. They will also help to maintain security on the College premises. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, an ambition to work with young people and engage with them positively, a belief in the power and value of education and the ability to work on their own initiative. A calm and authoritative personality is also highly desirable.
