Hollinwood Academy

Post 1 – 36 hours 40 mins per week

Post 2 – 20 hours per week or 2 posts 10 hours per week

£9.62 per hour

Part of the New Bridge Multi Academy Trust, Hollinwood Academy is a specialist provision for pupils from the age of 4 up to 19 whose Autistic Spectrum Condition and Speech, Language and Communication (SLCN) needs have become a barrier to their learning.

 

We currently have vacancies for a number of enthusiastic and efficient cleaners based initially at Hollinwood Academy, Roman Road campus, Hollinwood.  The role involves general cleaning duties such as wiping down tables and surfaces, cleaning floors and toilets and using standard cleaning equipment such as mops and a vacuum cleaner. The successful candidates will be members of a small team of cleaning staff and will need to be available to assist with a deeper clean of their particular site during the school holidays. 

 

Previous experience is essential although full training will be given. The successful candidates will be passionate about creating a welcoming environment through good hygiene standards. Key elements for any candidate are excellent attendance and reliability.  

 

Post 1 is full time (36 hrs 40 mins per week). The second post is part time and will be either one cleaner working 20 hrs per week or two cleaners each working 10 hours per week. All posts are worked on a full year basis. The current shift patterns for part time posts are 7am – 9am and/or 3pm – 5pm (Monday to Friday). Please note that all staff may be required to work flexibly across the Group when needed.  Applicants should state clearly which post they are applying for.

Salary: £9.62 per hour
