Invigilators
Examinations

At E-ACT Royton and Crompton Academy, we know that the life chances of our pupils are determined by people like you.

How you can help to inspire our pupils

We are looking for a number of Invigilators to join our exams team, following vacancies that have arisen following retirement and location moves.

The role includes joining the team on a rota during exam and mock periods.

You will receive training for the role and, although you will only be required for a number of weeks per year, this is a very important role, where you will help to insure the Academy is working within strict examination rules and regulations.

The successful candidate will be an integral member of the invigilation team conducting both internal and external examinations for students, ensuring that all regulatory requirements for the conduct of examinations are strictly adhered to.

For a full description of the role, see the job description and person specification. n We encourage you to get in touch with any questions; better still come and see us for yourself.

Our academy

The E-ACT Royton and Crompton Academy is an ambitious, inclusive 11-16 secondary academy in Oldham. We set high expectations for our students in all areas and encourage them to become ambassadors for their community.

Come and join our team

Quite aside from the opportunity to work with pupils whose energy, creativity and enthusiasm never fail to inspire, our academy is:

A great place to live and work

Known throughout the world as the birthplace of the industrial revolution, Greater Manchester is notable for it's cultural and musical exports as well as two of the world's biggest football clubs, it is also home to three E-ACT academies in E-ACT Blackley Academy, E-ACT Royton and Crompton Academy and The Oldham Academy North.

There is no shortage of things to do in the city which offers beautiful green spaces and waterways to be explored on foot or bike, quaint market towns and plenty of places to eat, drink and shop.

Part of the E-ACT family

We are an E-ACT academy and proud to be part of a community that includes over 15,400 pupils and 2,300 teaching and non-teaching professionals across the country. E-ACT multi-academy trust is responsible for 25 academies across the length and breadth of England.

Our academies collaborate and share ideas with one another in ways that schools may not be able to. Most importantly, we all feel part of something much bigger as our responsibilities go far beyond the four walls of a single academy and extend to people and their communities across the country.

In return we offer the chance to work with amazing people and inspirational pupils.
