Based: Werneth Park and Oldham Lifelong Learning centres

Role Overview:

 

The purpose of the post is to provide effective business support to the Lifelong Learning service.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide an excellent level of customer service and exchange a wide variety of information with a range of audiences.
  • Provide support to Curriculum teams as identified.
  • Data entry including checking documents for completeness and accuracy; attention to detail and an ability to work to required standards with little close supervision is essential.  
  • Undertake key financial tasks including ordering goods and services, processing payments and balancing and reconciling monies.

 

Key Requirements:

 

To succeed in this role you will need as a minimum:

  • Will be experienced in providing high quality business support combined with excellent administration, ICT skills and organisation skills.
  • Have excellent customer service skills to deliver a polite, courteous and efficient service to colleagues, partners and service users
  • Have the ability to work under pressure to competing priorities and demands.
  • Have excellent time management skills, be a flexible team player and be able to work at pace with excellent attention to detail.
  • Previous experience of working in a Lifelong Learning Service would be beneficial.
