Crompton Primary School is a successful, friendly and popular community school.  We have been through a time of change and achieved a Good Ofsted result in February 2019, of which we are very proud. The Governing Board is looking to recruit governors with an interest in or knowledge of finance and/ or buildings and premises to fill our vacancies.

 

We are looking for:

  • People with an interest in education and a commitment to give some of their time to help us in achieve the best outcomes for our children.
  • Individuals with drive and ambition to work as part of a committed Governing Board team in order to achieve the highest possible standards for our school;

We can offer:

  • Well behaved and enthusiastic children;
  • A hard working and supportive staff team;
  • An attractive, well organised school environment;
  • Training through the Local Authority Governor Support service;
  • A chance to develop your own personal skills and gain experience in governance and strategic planning.

The Governing Board intends to contact and appoint new governors in early September.

 

Crompton Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. (see the attached Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy). We require the successful applicants to undertake a DBS Disclosure at enhanced level.
