Crompton Primary School is a very successful, friendly and popular community school.  The Governing Body are seeking to fill a teaching assistant vacancy:

 

Salary: Grade 4 (SCP 20-25): £19,238 - £22,434Actual Salary: £14,523- £16,935 p.a.
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term time + 5 training days (pro rata).

Starting: as soon as possible

This post is permanent.

 

The successful candidates will have:

 

  • recent experience of working in a mainstream setting who have a range of abilities and learning needs
  • relevant knowledge, skills and understanding of working with children in small groups or 1:1
  • willingness to provide first aid support (training provided)
  • willingness to work collaboratively and undertake training
  • an ability to communicate with others
