Role Overview 

We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join and work with the SEND Team within the SEND Service, assisting the work of the service to assess and support children and young people with Special Educational Needs across Oldham.

 

Key Requirements

 

To succeed in this role you will need as a minimum:

  • Experience working in a busy environment, to statutory and conflicting deadlines.
  • Experience of communicating and engaging with a wide range of internal and external partners, building productive working relationships and positively promoting organisational reputation and interests.
  • An understanding of the issues and challenges facing Local Authorities and Schools both operationally and strategically, within the context of the 0-25 Agenda.
  • Ability to analyse complex information, solve problems and produce clear & concise reports.

Please note that internal employees will need to seek permission from their line manager before applying for this vacancy as a secondment.
