The Governors of Beever Primary School are seeking to appoint a new Assistant Head Teacher who aspires to senior leadership in our busy and rewarding school.

 

We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic and inspirational Assistant Head teacher to play an integral part in strengthening the Senior Leadership Team of our school. This is an ideal promotion opportunity for an excellent teaching practitioner who wishes to progress into leadership and an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to make a significant contribution towards improving the life chances of our children.

We are looking for an outstanding teacher with expertise in teaching within Key Stage 2. The candidate must have ambition, drive and a passion for learning. They must be able to lead and enhance the teaching practice of others in an innovative and dynamic way.

 

The successful candidate will:
• Be a creative practitioner with the commitment and motivation to inspire children’s learning and development.
• Be an excellent role model with strong organisational skills.
• Be able to develop an exciting and imaginative learning environment.
• Be an effective team member with very high expectations of themselves and all learners.
• Be an effective communicator able to develop strong relationships with parents and carers.
• Possess the knowledge and skills to lead the delivery of the national curriculum.
• Can lead literacy across the school and impact positively on other areas of the school.
• Has the ability, desire and dedication to maintain and strengthen links with parents, Governors and the wider community.
