Teaching Assistant Level 4
Hey with Zion C. of E./ Methodist Primary School is a successful and high achieving school and we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hard working and compassionate Level 4 Teaching Assistant (0.4) to work Thursdays and Fridays, mainly but not exclusively in Foundation Stage/ Key Stage One.
The post is to start on 13th January 2020 or as soon as possible.
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £24,313 - £26,999 pro rata

The successful candidate will:
- A committed and compassionate professional, sympathetic to the Christian ethos of the school
- Be able to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under supervision.
- Be able to work with the teacher to contribute to learning activities and lesson planning. This may include planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals and groups.
- Be willing to support or lead classes according to the school’s need.
- Have a strong understanding of the teaching of phonics.
- Be an effective team member with very high expectations of themselves and all learners.
- Be an effective communicator able to develop strong relationships with all stakeholders.
- Be an excellent role model with strong organisational skills.
