Role Overview:
Working within the Licensing Section you will support service users at reception and over the phone. You will receive applications for licences, take payment and process licences whilst giving advice and support along the way. You must be able to provide a communicate well and be a welcoming presence to those using our service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deal with members of the public and service users in a warm and friendly matter
- Handle enquiries over the phone or face to face
- Advice applicants of procedures for making applications
- Take payments for applicants and issue licences and associated materials
Key Requirements:
To succeed in this role you will need as a minimum:
- The ability to work in a busy environment and deal with challenging customers
- Work as part of a team and support each other
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Be computer literate and have a good standard of education in English and maths
