St Paul’s CE Primary School is a happy, friendly and vibrant one form entry Primary School from Nursery to Year 6, with an Additional Resourced Provision for pupils with Language and Communication Difficulties and Autism. We enjoy learning within a spacious open environment set upon a hill above Royton with spectacular views surrounded by areas of woodland.

The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking and ambitious team of staff across the Primary School age range; committed to nurture, support and drive improvement, both in terms of standards and Christian ethos.

We are looking to appoint someone who: 
  • Has excellent organisational skillsHigh expectations
  • Is driven and aspirational
  • Has an excellent use of spoken standard English
  • Can demonstrate good knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Can offer additional skills to extend learning beyond the curriculum
  • Aspires to being an outstanding classroom support working with small groups and individuals
  • Is a strong team-player
  • Is committed to promoting the Christian ethos of the school
  • Has good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Is able to contribute and play a constructive role in the life of the School community and beyond.
  • Can offer that ‘someone extra’ to the school
