Salary: Grade 4 £22,183 - £24,491 pro rata.  

Hours: 24.00 (0.65FTE) per week

Role overview

To deliver the outreach and informal learning programme of the Heritage Libraries and Arts service. You will work collaboratively with a range of partners to make our programme accessible to a wide range of audiences.

 

Key responsibilities

  • To work collaboratively across the Heritage, Libraries and Arts team to produce innovative, creative, cultural projects and events which engage and inspire a range of audiences
  • To take responsibility for the development and delivery of an accessible programme of creative informal learning opportunities for adults.
  • To recruit and support specialist and creative freelance staff when required.
  • To build and maintain relationships with a range of partners

Key Requirements

To succeed in this role you will need as a minimum:

  • Experience of co-ordinating creative initiatives and training including project initiation, delivery and evaluation.
  • Excellent communication skills (listening, written, verbal, ICT and interpersonal skills)
  • A passion for arts and culture and the ability to share this with a wide range of audiences
