Oldham Lifelong Learning Service, judged as Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted in November 2015, is a successful thriving adult and community education provider serving the diverse needs of local communities.  In 2016, we were re-awarded the national Matrix Standard for the quality of our information, advice and guidance.  We have in excess of 11,000 enrolments across a broad range of programmes and put our learners at the heart of all that we do.

 

We are looking to appoint a 0.4FTE Programme Leader to support the curriculum manager in the development, management and delivery of the English and maths curriculum and contribute to the overall strategic management of the Service. 

 

You will have experience of engaging and working with adults who are from disadvantaged areas and who are unemployed.  You will also have experience of teaching English as part of the curriculum offer.  You will hold a recognised teaching qualification at Level 4 e.g. Certificate in Education, PGCE, CTLLS and at least a Level 4/5 qualification in a relevant subject specialism area.

 

Salary: £27,845 - £30,298 pro rata

Hours: 14.66 hours per week

Based at: Oldham Library and Lifelong Learning Centre
