Design Technology Technician

Job Ref 4600/352/17

Grade 3 (SCP 16 – 21), £17,419 - £20,139 pro rata, Actual salary (£15,593 - £18,027) based on 5 years or less service

Full-time (36.66 hours per week), term time only plus 3 weeks

 

We require a committed and dynamic Design and Technology Technician, to provide technical support to the staff and pupils within the DT Department. 


The successful candidate must hold at least a Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject area, and have a knowledge of health and safety within a school or practical based working environment, a working knowledge of a range of D&T techniques (e.g. Graphics, Resistant Materials, Construction), be able to work with students within a classroom environment and undertake general maintenance and preparation of resources and equipment. Knowledge of, or a willingness to learn about CAD/CAM equipment is essential.
