Blackshaw Lane Primary and Nursery School is a happy primary school with very high standards and a relentless determination to provide the best for all our children.  We need staff committed to moving the school forward even further and to be fully involved in this exciting journey. 

 

A person who can use their initiative and be flexible.  Training and development will be provided to the right candidate. The headteacher is looking for a person who has:

  • The ability to deliver a high standard of customer service
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to maintain effective administrative systems
  • The ability to work constructively as part of the school team, understanding schools roles and responsibilities and your position within these
  • IT skills, in particular Word and Excel.  A knowledge of SIMS (Schools Information Management) systems would be an advantage, although training will be available.
  • Self-motivation and personal drive to complete tasks to the required timescales and quality standards
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing workloads, demands and school challenges.

The post is 35 hours 50 minutes per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.10pm (30 minute lunch breaks) plus 3 professional activity days worked during periods of school closure, in accordance with service requirements.
