The Board of Trustees wish to appoint an enthusiastic Estates & Facilities Manager. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to become part of our trust central team. The postholder will initially be located at Northmoor Academy, Alderson St, Oldham, OL9 6AQ or Alvaston Junior Academy, Elvaston Lane, Derby, DE24 0PU (dependant on preferred location), but will be expected to travel across the Trust’s portfolio of academies on a regular basis (i.e weekly), for which a casual car user allowance will be paid.
The Harmony Trust was established in February 2014 and currently has 12 schools (5 in Oldham and 7 in Derby) under the trust umbrella, this brings with it exciting opportunities for career progression and development for existing and future employees. The successful candidate will
- have a high standard of education up to degree level in building, construction or facilities management related subject
- be able to effectively manage & develop a portfolio of sites across the Trusts estate
- have experience of developing Asset Management Plans and conducting Stock Condition Surveys which align to financial strategy
- excellent ICT skills and be able to utilise a number of different packages
- have the experience & ability to produce specifications, procure and manage projects to completion
- be able to prioritise work and respond to the needs of the trust.
