Programme Leader for Care, Education and Employability (CEE)

Salary: £28,972 - £31,525 p.a. (pro rata) (salary plus any additional payments)
Hours: 18.33 per week
Based: Turf Lane Lifelong Learning centre, Turf Lane, Chadderton, Oldham, OL9 8HP

Role overview
To assist the Curriculum Manager to develop, deliver and manage Employability, Care and Education across the Service. To assist in the management and support of part-time teaching staff in the team. To deliver the contracted teaching hours to learners with a particular focus on Early Years and Teaching Assistant courses.
Key responsibilities
- To assist in the management of the staff team.
- To assist in the identification of new developments, initiatives and policies within the Service.
- To assist with data and financial monitoring procedures.
- To contribute to planning and reviewing the Self Assessment Report and Quality Improvement Plan of the team in line with the Service Plan and Directorate and Corporate objectives.
- To ensure the implementation of all Service policies.
Key Requirements
To succeed in this role you will need as a minimum:
- Relevant teaching qualification at level 4 e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, B.Ed.
- Minimum of Level 3 subject specialism qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Children’s Care, or Learning and Development, Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator)
- Excellent organisational skills will be needed to assist the Curriculum Manager with the development and management of teaching and learning within the Post 19 sector; with relevant practitioner experience.
