• Werneth Primary School
• The Hathershaw College (11-16)
• Oldham Sixth Form College (16-19)

Werneth Primary School Key Stage 2 Teacher
Full time, to commence 22nd February 2021, Fixed term until 31st August 2021.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified, imaginative and driven teacher who works with equal efficacy independently and as part of a team. Applicants will join an innovative, forward-thinking and committed team. The position would suit dynamic teachers who are able to inspire pupils of all abilities to develop their full potential.

Experience of teaching Key Stage 2 is essential as is a thorough up-to-date knowledge and experience of the curriculum. What is also important is your ability to interact and support children in a positive way to foster their enthusiasm for learning.

You should have a minimum of 1 year of substantive teaching experience, excellent subject knowledge and proven track record of outstanding academic success and achievement.

The successful candidate will
• Have high expectations of achievement, attainment and behaviour
• Be an excellent teacher with a proven record of raising standards and an understanding of how children learn.
• Understand the importance of using assessment for learning to raise standards and improve pupil achievement.
• Lead by example, inspiring and motivating children and colleagues
• Support the Principal in implementing the school vision
• Develop & support teaching & learning in the academy.

Applicants should be outstanding teachers and be innovative and creative in their approach to learning.

Salary: Main range 2-6
