Role overview and Key responsibilities
Applications are invited for the post of:

A 2 year position as a Grade 6 Social Worker in the Fostering Team

 

You will need to have sound knowledge in the assessment of families and matching children's needs, together with the skills and confidence to support and supervise Foster Carers in the best interests of the Children and young people in our care.
 

You will be involved in the recruitment and training of Foster Carers and contribute to our duty service.  This post involves all aspects of social work within the Fostering Service including assessing and supporting family and friends carers. 
 

Key Requirements

 

To apply for this post you will need a sound understanding of the fostering standards and regulations, have a suitable qualification in Social Work and be registered with the HCPC.

The post is subject to an enhanced disclosure from the DBS (previously known as CRB)
