Role overview

You’ll work closely with our Early Years Service, using data and analysis to make a difference to families by supporting the expansion of wraparound childcare. As part of the wider Education intelligence team, there will also be opportunities to work on wider projects, developing your technical skills and knowledge.

 

Key responsibilities

  • With the Early Years Data Manager, agree on information requirements for wraparound childcare, and put in place systems to collect that information
  • Produce analysis and performance information for Early Years
  • Provide data for statutory returns and other data collections
  • With the Early Years Data Manager, plan and provide evaluation of the wraparound childcare programme
  • Work as part of the team supporting other major exercises

Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need as a minimum:

  • The ability to manipulate and analyse data, to produce desired results and spot data quality problem.
  • The ability to interpret and present findings, in ways that suit your audiences and encourage improvement
  • Good communication skills, to be able to talk to and influence our customers so we get the right answers to the right questions
