Role Overview:

Provide strong leadership of the Environmental Health Neighbourhood Enforcement Team to protect public health by dealing with private sector housing issues, delivering the Selective Licensing Scheme, plus statutory nuisance, drainage, air quality and permitted processes. You will drive forward improvements - so that we can understand and address the changing needs and demands of our communities, particularly in the context of challenging times for local public services.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the team to deliver the service ensuring service requests are dealt with efficiently and effectively
  • To work with a range of partners to tackle the impact poor landlords have in the private rented sector and on Neighbourhoods.
  • Implement effective methods of measurement, monitoring and evaluation of policies, programmes and services.
